I didn't enjoy this one as much as other math books, which I attribute entirely to a difference in philosophy between me and the author; if you've never heard of the mathematical material in the book, and enjoy really, really simple examples that skip over all calculation, you'll probably enjoy it. Especially if you aren't the sort of person driven nuts by an author citing examples like 'A kid is given some cookies, and asked how many cookies there are, and eats them so they can say zero' as an example of the 'illogical' nature of the real world. The kid was being perfectly logical - it was the asker not being specific enough, they should have asked 'how many cookies were you given?' instead!
More or less the “cocktail party answer” to the question “what is category theory?”. It's a good, but a bit rambling and very shallow introduction to the topic. The anecdotes and allegories were mostly helpful, but sometimes felt slightly gratuitous.
