Quick impressions: A history of fast food in the U.S. through the growth of what became the fast food corporate behemoth. From small tow mom and pop shops to entrepreneurs with varying degrees of morality and ethics to the corporatization of fast food we get to see the expansion and growth of the U.S. in the 20th century and into the 21st. Author leans a bit more on the nostalgia and Americana element of the narrative.
