A Strong Installment

The introduction of a xenophobic human faction and having members of a formerly antagonistic force become prominent in this novel brought new dynamics and intrigue to the series. I worried I'd tire of space military baggage as the series went on, but Huff surprised me by introducing distance from those early books' immersion in military culture.
