Review of 'The Crown Conspiracy' on 'Goodreads'

That was fun! Sullivan crafted a fantasy story and showed brevity while doing so. I don't have issues with an author taking time to build up a world, explaining sigils or the craftsmanship of a sword hilt but being able to cut through that and get straight to the story was a nice change.
I felt there were some parallels to the Gentleman Bastard series with the story leads, their humorous and casual back and forth banter and having a knack for getting in to, and out of, trouble. After a few non-fantasy stories I am happy to be back in the genre and I will continue with the Riyria Revelations Series.
