Review of 'On the run' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

I read through some of the more critical reviews of this book to help level my perspective on this work after reading it. Some of the research issues aside, this presents the problems and long term issues created from a tough on crime and that association create. This highlights that as a community, city, state and country we need to continue to critically look at how we address crime, education, race and wealth inequality. We have started with some reformation, but there is still a very long way to do. I believe this book presents an honest perspective and opens the door to help understanding the complex challenges faced in these communities.
