Review of 'Bloom into You, Vol. 1' on 'Storygraph'

I think I've watched the trailer for the anime when it came out, and ever since it was lying on my watchlist, but I haven't started it... well, now I wanted to read the manga and voilà. I barely actually remembered the trailer, but still I lowkey imagined the story to be different. Maybe the anime is just different from the manga, or it's just my short-memory...

Well, anyway. I do like it so far and I am going to continue it, but it's not the best. I found the confession a bit too quick, although then again, it makes it also unique and stand out from other yuri stories. And I do like it how "relaxed" they are about it, if that's the right word.
The characters are also nice to read – no one's really annoying, not even the boys. Although I get bad vibes from Yuu's dad. …
