Irish Supernatural Spy Thriller but the Protag is literally a Minor

Lovely time with this book and it drips with how much fun the author had writing it. You can feel that this was written tight before YA went Big and so it doesn't read like what you expect from YA. Artemis Fowl is a super villain and he means it. He more than willing to kidnap, extort and put his subordinates in danger to win. I love him. Glad I finally read this, 2 decades behind the curve. Better late than never!
