This is just soooo good. Gorgeous writing, excellent story and just enough terror to make it interesting. Discover it for yourself.

In the early twentieth century in Swampsea, Wales, seventeen-year-old Briony, who can see the spirits that haunt the marshes around their town, feels responsible for her twin sister's horrible injury until a young man enters their lives and exposes secrets that even Briony does not know about.

Really excellently written teen fantasy WITHOUT a love triangle. The protagonist is complex, without being just another whiny teenager. And I'm glad it was done in first person, as it gave me a good look at what a truly damaged teenager might be thinking. Just well done.
