Greeks Bearing Gifts

Just another very good read from one of my favorite authors. This is effectively the last novel in the Bernhard Gunther series. I miss having Philip Kerr producing excellent period mysteries.

Solid yet unspectacular Bernie Gunther. Story was all over the place, both literally and figuratively. And the misogyny was a little much - women were pretty much just talked about by how pretty they were and how nice their boobs were. But it was an interesting place, Greece, and some unusual history. There were some pretty grim massacres by the Nazis in Greece. Ugh.
