I'm a longtime fan of both Michael Moorcock and Doctor Who, but this novel was an incredible disappointment. It links Moorcock's Eternal Champion mythos with the equally monumental world of Doctor Who, but other than that, there's not much worthwhile here. The story is both plodding and incoherent, the characterization of Amy Pond and the Doctor slight, and there were too many pointless characters. Give this one a miss.
