Not at all where I expected things to pick back up, but extremely well executed, and a lovely read.

Kenhodan, a swordsman with no memory of his past, becomes a pawn in a millennium-long war before confronting the dark wizard Wencit of Rum, who is determined to protect his world and a frightened eleven-year-old girl.
Not at all where I expected things to pick back up, but extremely well executed, and a lovely read.
