I'm giving up on these books. The things I like about it the overarching story are outweighed by my dislike for the author's writing style at this point and I'm just not interested in waging this war on me trying to overlook the things I hate.

I loved the book. But there's an enormous plot hole.

Sands is hit over the head and unconscious with a head wound and Max just never questions it? They just go one to rescue the others and when they find Schiller missing they still don't question it? Even once they're back no one ever talks about that. The pod Sands was in must've also had cameras. How did no one think to check what happened to Sands and how he acquired a head wound? How was no one suspicious?
