It may start a bit slow, but once the pace picks up, it does not let go until the very end, and then it leaves you in quite the cliffhanger. I won't spoil it, but I will say it goes back the author's ability to remind us that no one, no one at all, is safe in the world of the Walking Dead. For those of you keeping track, this volume covers issues 73 to 84. This is the continuation of the community arc storyline. We learn that living inside walls can be dangerous, at times, maybe even more so than outside, but the outside world is still out there. You really can't forget that and get complacent. And on a note, if you have seen the show, keep in mind the show is not really keeping close to the comic books. Personally, I am preferring the comics. I think Kirkman may have sold out a bit given some of the pretty major changes, which I guess are made to make a TV show more alluring to people not familiar with the source. Still, I prefer the books.
