One day a young man casually sees an extremely beautiful woman in the back of an expensive vehicle and is smitten and deeply in love with her. One day our ability to comprehend the world will be dwarfed by our machinery. Sometime after that, the machinery will be able to influence it in ways that are too subtle for us. Let's hope that it's a future like this.
