Maisie Dobbs A Novel

This is a very moving tale of love, war (the Great War), injury, healing and responsibility. I particularly enjoyed the structure of the novel; it is quite unique and different from normal flashback 'stories'. The past and present flow and fuse more fluidly than is typically the case.

A mystery set in the 20's. The mystery itself was not all that challenging. Maisie herself was a bit too modern to be believable as a woman of that era.
