almost cried over loss of memories not characters so either a great job or a shit job depending on what you enjoy to read
id love a 3rd book where the characters can be their amazing selves and not be traumatised again.

Not as good as the first book. That had a cute romance and a dash of mystery, this one was more of a thriller plot and it fell flat for me. The solution was morally grey, which is fine when explored, but this just seemed to make it out that the witches were good, hunters were bad, so the witches could do whatever and be justified. I didn't particularly like the audiobook narrator so that might have also contributed to the feeling that the story dragged.
