Not as good as the first book. That had a cute romance and a dash of mystery, this one was more of a thriller plot and it fell flat for me. The solution was morally grey, which is fine when explored, but this just seemed to make it out that the witches were good, hunters were bad, so the witches could do whatever and be justified. I didn't particularly like the audiobook narrator so that might have also contributed to the feeling that the story dragged.
