Review of 'The Waking Fire: Book One of Draconis Memoria (The Draconis Memoria)' on 'Goodreads'

After getting bored with United States of Japan and dropping it, I picked up The Waking Fire and got drawn into it right away. I enjoyed everything about this book. The main characters in particular feel sufficiently real and deep and the world also has a unique feel about it. There was some clumsy exposition in the very beginning, but that was really my only gripe with the book. I already started the next book in the trilogy, so let that be your recommendation.
