I'm not a great reader of poetry. I don't know the craft the way I do fiction, so I feel a little out of my depth reviewing a poetry collection. But, I love Tupac. I grew up on his music and his movies, and am therefore probably biased about his poetry.

I really liked how this collection shows his youth, allows you to see the progression from a teen to the man and artist he became.
