I really enjoyed this one as well
5 stars
I always find this one kind of heart wrenching, having to leave the family that has been built up in 3 books just doesn't feel great.

When the home office adds a new crew member to the environmental section of the Lois McKendrick, Ishmael Wang faces being put ashore at the next port. Not even his multiple division ratings can save him as he refuses to bump one of his shipmates, which is the only way he can stay with his friends on his new found home in the Deep Dark.
Ishmael's predicament goes from bad to worse when an EMP damages the ship and threatens the lives of everyone on board. Gone are the days when his biggest challenge was making a good cup of coffee. I still really love these books, and this one I think is probably the best of the series, Just having spent so much time with the different characters and get to know them so well. It's just something about these that really makes me feel something, something about the friendship and optimism that makes them feel so good. So I loved it, and now time to go on to the next one in the series, even though I kind of don't want this one to stop.
Like the previous two books in the series, this is just a plain good read. This book has a little more action than the previous two books, with a bona fide ship emergency for our hero to help out in.
This book did a better job than the previous books at world-building, I think, although the science parts of the science fiction tried hard to be believable and for me, just failed in several spots. When it did, it broke my suspension of disbelief, unfortunately. In fairness to the author, I think he tried really hard, and I think that what I saw others might not be bothered by. In a similar vein, we see new sides of Ishmael Wang, and is in the previous book, there's little or no foreshadowing about his abilities and skills. Those are the reasons for the three stars instead of four --- the crafting of the story at this point, I think, just isn't quite tight enough to deserve more. However, it's still a very enjoyable read, and I found myself having a hard time putting the book down at the end of each chapter. I'd recommend it, just as I have the other books in the series.
Full Share is thus far the best of the novels in the series. There is significantly more conflict, both man vs man and man vs nature which makes for a more interesting read. The author shares even more of the universe, and gives a better understanding of where Ish’s ship fits in both to the economy of the setting and in a more grand scheme of things.
I like where the series seems to be going, story-wise, and I’m appreciating the growth of the different characters.
There is something about the writing that makes it extremely difficult to put these books down. I’m really looking forward to picking up the next book in the series.
