This series hits its stride in this volume, culminating in the classic pizza dog issue. While it's still a little tricky to follow what's going on at times, it doesn't really matter, the pacing pulls you through and it works best as a series of vignettes that happen to have a little continuity.

Art and characterization continue to meet the high standard set in the first volume, but the pace has slowed down quite a bit. They're experimenting with multiple perspectives of the same events, Rashomon-style, but it's not particularly successful. I'm still enjoying this series, but I hope they pick up the pace with the next batch of issues.
