kind of funny when you realize mathieu is a blatant self-insert. it's been hard to reread since i made that connection.
i read it when i was 20. it helped shape my identity i guess. i used to read it between my breaks at work. id walk to the indigo across the street and read it standing against the shelf. it made me unbearably lonely. it is emotionally intense and has some of my favorite quotes in literature. this would be my favorite book if a certain somebody didnt like to leech off all that makes me who i am.
well anyway, ivich is soooo cute.
