Suarez is the modern heir to Michael Crichton, doing for computers what Crichton did for biology and genetics. While this book was based around a fascinating concept, there was no real surprise as to where it was going from nearly the first chapter. Compared to Suarez' earlier books, this one was fine but not nearly as engaging or tense.

an excellent techno-thriller, well researched and thoroughly enjoyable.
not quite as dark as Daemon/Freedom, but still very much in the "could happen" vein of futurism.

Not as good as his other two, and a bit formulaic, but if you don't already have a background in military history, Indian ship breakers and social media, you will enjoy this book.

This book had only pieces of the future-tech excitement of the previous two books. The plot was predictable, the selection of future-tech ideas didnt complement each other as in previous books.
