It’s war. The Wasp Empire advances, some win some lose. This book is full of action, dramatic battles and has the best romantic duo fight ever.

The events of the previous three books come together in this spectacularly climactic addition to the series. This is certainly Adrian Tchaikovsky's strongest book so far and it manages to remain both epic in scope and close enough to the characters to keep you involved right the way through.

I notice that there is a fifth book in the series. It will be very interesting to see where the author goes from here.
