I was so looking forward to this book, after very much enjoying the adventures of Yelena and Opal in the first 5.

There were two main things that bothered me. Devlen. I echo most of the previous comments in the reviews section - shacking up with him after all the torture... just doesn't make sense. Kade, who most readers had grown to love was cast aside like an old pair of boots.

And secondly... Zitora. I loved seeing her character in the previous books and when she revealed about her sister leaving her at the Citadel, it sounded like she had a great back story to share. I was waiting for her to turn up at the final battle, like her and her sister would come riding in and help out and it would turn out that her sister was also equally powerful or was of relevance to Opal's character. …
