This is an occasionally aware/woke novel on class and feminism, given that it centers on the reunion of three men on Martha's Vineyard who met at an elite new england liberal arts college and reminisce about not serving in Vietnam and their lost love for a sorority sister friend. How drastic must your life's effort be to thwart the fate of privilege?
