I liked this one better than the first. Although it didn't feel finished. The end to some might have been regarded as a cliffhanger, but honestly it wasn't really. It lost a star for that. I like my books to have a complete story within themselves, even if they are part of a series.

Sophie matures but keeps her sarcastic wit! The suspense grows and the mystery gets deeper, as the story dangles bits of information only to reveal more mystery. I love the progression and can't wait for the third book!
