Review of 'Working' on Goodreads

A quick memoir in case he doesn't get through writing a full one, making the case that his biographies of important men have always been about pursuing and portraying the larger popular cultures they wielded power over. Almost makes me want to read his thousands-paged books, and puts the questioning awe of researching through thousands of archive boxes and interviews front and center.
