He is a good man, a brilliant corporate executive, an honest, handsome family man admired by men and desired by women. But sixteen years ago Ben Tyson was a lieutenant in Vietnam. There, in 1968, the men under his command committed a murderous atrocity-and together swore never to tell the world what they had done. Not the press, army justice, and the events he tried to forget have caught up with Ben Tyson. His family, his career, and his personal sense of honor hang in the balance. And only one woman can reveal the truth of his past-and set him free.

A long book, but a good one. There were similarities in characters and locales to The Gold Coast, which I also liked. Demille's level of detail marches you through the character's experience so you see their perspective. There was some good snark, although nothing like the John Corey series. Learning about the differences in the military justice system was interesting. The courtroom drama and strategy were also good, although I still don't quite understand Ben Tyson's rationale for handling things the way he did. Was an entertaining read and you wanted to keep reading to find out what happens next.
