The Stranger Diaries

This was clever - several mysteries wrapped in one, with different characters narrating different parts of the story, and all of it wrapped up well. I enjoy Griffiths's Ruth Galloway series but I think this was better.

This was a fairly mediocre novel. The story drags, the characters are under-formed stereotypes, and the so-called “suspense” was lacking. I determined the killer about halfway through, which I find disappointing. I should be tossing various ideas, suspects, and motives in my head before piecing the mystery together, but that wasn’t the case with The Stranger Diaries. Another underwhelming attempt at a thriller/mystery.
