Your Story

This is probably the game I played and GM'd most. It's the game of my adult life, and I love it dearly.

Fate is probably the perfect choice for the genre. Urban Fantasy allows you as a GM (and as a player!) to mix relaxing fantasy with todays very real problems, and Fate allows to to mix in a lot of human interest. I could talk for ages about the system and the setting, but won't - try it out.

I love the Fate system, and this is a great implementation of it. I'm only a moderate fan of the Dresden Files novels, but still found the conceit of the game (that it's a draft copy of a game being written in the Dresden universe by characters from the novels) to be very entertaining. The margin notes made by Harry Dresden and others are well done and serve to both entertain and emphasize certain concepts.

I'm really looking forward to playing this game.
