It had been awhile since I had last picked up a book by this author. In fact, I had not finished up the House of Comarré series (and I need to do so but I am sure that since it has been awhile, I will need to re-read the series once more) quite yet. Normally her books are in the world of urban fantasy but this series was fluff, something I was not quite expecting from her.

Perhaps this might be her first dabble in this type of genre and I thought she did a wonderful job but I think my deepest problem was there was a bit too much fluff for me.

Aspiring candy maker, Delaney was a really likable character and one the reader could relate to on some levels. She did not come across as any Mary Sue. She had problems and flaws like …
