As always a good story, however it didn't fit as seamlessly into the world as the others.
I often had trouble with the timeline and the plot of the previous novel, which should have had at least some remote influence, was never even mentioned. Almost nothing about the rest of the Seven was revealed, so Venom seemed pretty separate from the rest in this one.
I did like the dynamics between Venom and Holly, but I couldn't exactly place when Venom changed his mind about her. Everyone who has read even one Guild Hunter novel knows where this is going, but still it seemed a bit rushed and uneven.
Still an enjoyable read.
