We've been referencing gods and feral creatures for much of the series so far so it was cool to see it in practice.
Carl's toolbox is becoming more well defined. Glad to see some party changes. Looking forward to the next one!
Matt Dinniman does it again! Amazing world building, great new characters, and of course, craziness. 5th floor sucks for the characters though! Surprised Borant wanted to make it that difficult for the players. Its insane to think that many at all would have survived that. Narration is always top notch and I have been sucked into the world once again. Wonderful listen for my car rides to work and trip to Australia
While this is definitely not my favorite of the series, the growth, or regression depending on how you see it I guess, in Carl is fantastic to follow. It feels like this will be a fantastic segue into the next book!
