So interesting book. We learn how reconstructive surgery worked during the first world war through the life of Harrold Gillies who spent hours trying to give their faces back to the mutilated soldiers.
Es war alles interessant, aber ich mochte den Stil nicht, er war mir zu anekdoten-nacherzählend und zu "little did he know that only 50 years later..." Ich kann mich nicht mehr so genau an "The Butchering Art" erinnern, aber ich glaube, da war das besser.
