Interesting; though I don't think I'm really fond of the Old Republic stuff as a whole, but still interesting...
Star Wars: The Old Republic: Revan is part of the Star Wars expanded universe. Written by Drew Karpyshyn and released on November 15, 2011, Revan fills in the gaps between the RPG games Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords, as well as providing a backstory for events in the MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.

I thought the ending was sad, the book kinda follows "dead man" type formula in which you get the feeling it's going to end not that well, but you're hoping it ends good.
Drew Karpyshyn writes some of the best Star Wars novels I have read. His depiction of the Old Republic era continues to be a delight to read.
This novel does a great job of filling in some story background for the unanswered questions from KotOR and KotOR II and how those stories transition in the recent The Old Republic MMO. A wonderful read for Star Wars fans.
Enjoyed everything but the painful ending...
