Review of 'G.I. Joe' on 'Goodreads'

Nice compilation of the G.I. Joe comics written by Larry Hama. If you have seen the cartoon, you will probably enjoy these. The volume contains comics that highlight the character of General Hawk, the team leader. Entertaining read. However, the compilers did pick a comic or two that end in a cliffhanger, and they did not include the follow up tales. So at times, just as a tale was getting good, it cuts off. I did find that kind of annoying, which is why I did not rate it higher. Still, it's a fun and easy series to read if you like G.I. Joe, especially the 80s Saturday morning cartoon (not the crappy movie travesty).
