Infinite Crisis is a 2005–2006 comic book storyline published by DC Comics, consisting of an eponymous, seven-issue comic book limited series written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Phil Jimenez, George Pérez, Ivan Reis, and Jerry Ordway, and a number of tie-in books. The main miniseries debuted in October 2005, and each issue was released with two variant covers: one by Pérez and one by Jim Lee and Sandra Hope. The series storyline was a sequel to DC's 1985 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths, which "rebooted" much of the DC continuity in an effort to fix 50 years of contradictory character history. It revisited characters and concepts from that earlier Crisis, including the existence of DC's Multiverse. Review of 'Infinite Crisis' on 'Goodreads'

From looking at the reviews, seems a lot of people either liked this tale or hated it. It seems most of the geek fanboys hate (I mean the people really into the DC Universe). I come to these comics as more of a casual reader. I like the tales, often pick some compilations like this one out of curiosity or because they seem interesting. This one seemed interesting.

I did not rank it higher because it is fairly convoluted. A lot is happening in the story and in the panels. While it is a quick read, you do have to pay attention as you read it. And if you are a casual reader like me, there will be things you may miss. I am sure I missed a thing or two (and that is ok. I can always go back and reread it). But at the end of the day, …
