For a book I picked up on a whim at the library, I was pleasantly surprised by the sophistication and wit of the prose. However, I’d argue that this book is not about women and the modern feminist movement like the book’s jacket suggests. Instead, it’s about how men see women and how they become something more or less than they are based on who’s dissecting them.
