3 1/2 stars! I picked up this lovely romance based on the perceived Austen tie-in, which was actually minimal, but still present. The relationship that develops is so delightful and refreshing that it carries the whole book even when plotlines are a little extreme. I also appreciated when it touched on difficult family dynamics.
