Incredible stories from woman all over the world. The common narrative we hear is be kind, be brave, do your best and the rest will fall in place. As much as this is comforting to hear when we are low, this is not always true. There are many women around the world who fought and are fighting for their basic rights who were executed and who know that it is a losing battle.
Let us pause for a minute and acknowledge that the many basic rights that we have today are the fruits of the many battles fought and lost by many men and women. With every battle lost, there might be one mind that was changed. Evolution happens slowly by trickle effect. Minds change slowly.
