Looking for a good place to log, rate, and maybe talk about books that isn't Goodreads.

I've already met my goal for the year, but I'm leaving it be. I used to read at most a single book per year. My ADHD would just get the best of me and I couldn't get myself to pick up a physical book (despite my absolute love for them). I bought a Kobo back in March and I've read more books since then than probably the past two decades.

It was okay. I enjoyed reading it, however, I don't know that it or the series would have much "staying power" with me. I can't say I like these kinds of stories because I loved things like Farscape (TV) where the entire time, the protagonist was just trying to get home. I didn't see much character relationship building, or maybe it just wasn't as much as I'd like.

It was an offer from the Kobo store. Read the 1st in a series for free to get you hooked. I might check the next one out from the library when I'm not in the mood for something else.

I had difficulty reading parts of this book (I blame me, not the author) and rage read other parts. However, the themes and lessons to be learned are valuable and relevant today.
