Really enjoyed this. Well thought out, or at least ended up that way. I have trouble imagining building this kind of timeTRAveling plot. Drew me in very quickly, characters were likeable and understandable. Would watch as a TV show, fun novel.
If you love mystery books and time travel stories, this is the book for you. Could not stop reading it.
First 25% was bad. Short, choppy sentences. Lots of contradictions. The words didn't "flow." Almost ditched the book. But, I kept reading anyway, and am very glad I did.
After the first 25%, it was like I was reading a different author. Words flowed, reading became faster, the plot started to thicken, and I was very intrigued by that point. The rest of the book just kept getting better and better.
There were several places were I put the book down and marveled at what I just read. It got me thinking. And to me, that's the sign of a great story.
The story brilliantly wove threads together in imaginative ways. A few times I'd start saying "what ever happened to so and so? Must be a plot holes." But then sure enough, later in the story it was addressed, in a most creative and thoughtful way.

It is certainly a good page-turner. Lots of short chapters that frequently end on mini-cliffhangers.
I was pleasantly surprised by plot developments in the final third of the book with a real ‘I didn’t see that coming’ moment’ at one point.
However, I didn’t really feel invested in the characters and the writing wasn’t as evocative as other time-travel related books that I’ve read of late.
Solid popcorn fun. The time travel is a bit wonky, the prose mediocre, and the characters quite flat, but Lost in Time is a quick, fairly enjoyable read with short and snappy chapters.
