One of the most depressing books I have ever read, until the last two chapters....Peston lifts a lot of stones and examines what crawls out from underneath. At the end there is both a constructive and hopeful series of possible solutions but I feel that the pygmies in charge will not have the ability to seethe sense of what he says.
