Marsha Woerner reviewed Prince Caspian by C. S. Lewis (Chronicles of Narnia (2))
Review of 'Prince Caspian' on 'Goodreads'

Yes, it's a children's book; yes, the author is a well-known Christian apologist; and yes, "Aslan" represents Jesus; and yes, I'm a Jewish adult. But I love the whole Narnia series. You needn't be Christian to like the character of Aslan, nor need you be Christian to appreciate the good lessons. And the lessons are subtle enough that absorbing them (and the religion) is not necessary in order to enjoy the book. I read the whole series, starting when I was in 3rd grade. I am going through and reading it again, in the order in which it was written as opposed to the "chronological order of the story", which is the only appropriate order :-)
