A group of friends set out on an adventure along the railroad tracks and woods in search for the missing kid, Ray Brower who one of the boys hears about when eaves dropping on his brother. They go through some crap along the way.
The Body has a movie adaptation called "Stand By Me" that released in 1986 directed by Rob Reiner. This movie is an all time favorite of mine and I had no idea until about 8 years ago that it was based off a novella by Stephen King. While the movie Stand By Me is a favorite movie, I have to say the book is 100% better. The details are chefs kiss and you even get to read more about Ace who has very short appearances in the movie (actor Kiefer Sutherland played Ace <3). I needed something small to read after finishing Desperation …
