Radiant Black Vol.1

I heard a lot of good things about this book and I'm very interested in the universe that this ultimately led to. But, this book was not super exciting, at least the first three issues. It felt cookie cutter and uninspired. The protagonist felt boring, except for the writing segments. I would have loved a book just about an author trying to figure out how to write a book. But the last two chapters of the book is where things got increasingly interesting. If I were reading this monthly, I would have considered dropping it, but I'm glad I picked this up in trade and I'm very excited for volume 2.
