The parallel story of hunters and hunted is really absorbing! But the cops (heroes of the story) keep beating up anyone they "interrogate". And in the end you find the hunted criminal was righting the injustice done to her family and executing revenge on the men that abused her in unspeakable ways. At last the abused woman is hunted to death by men. The abuse never ended for her. All cops are bastards.
