Another light, fun, heartwarming adventure of the Thursday Murder Club. Osman is skilled at both telling a straightforward procedural mystery, as well as developing and exploring characters to care about. As with the first two books, it's the bittersweet celebration of old age that really sets this apart.
Enjoyed this one, but wasn't that into the plot overall.
Same enjoyable characters with some unexpected depth of development for a crime series. Going to take a bit of a break before continuing. I've seen the casting for the upcoming series and now I can't unsee them when I read the books - especially Ben Kingsley as Ibrahim.
Another wonderful adventure of the gang.
All I can say is that I slogged through this to the end.
Very clever, as are the first two, as well as funny and heartwarming.
Is it just me, or are the books getting better with every installment?
When I saw this latest volume awaiting me at the library, I felt like a kid at Christmas. Not only are these books well written, they’re also just ridiculously good fun, and the third one is possibly the best of the three.
