Review of 'The rest of the story' on 'Goodreads'

The Queen of YA does it again with this heartwarming summer read! The Rest of the Story follows 17-year-old Emma Saylor as she unexpectedly spends the summer with her deceased mother's side of the family, whom she hasn't seen since she was 4. Through adventures with her slightly more wild cousins, Emma learns about her mother's life before the addiction, how to "take the driver's seat" in your own life, and what it means to be a family. As usual, long time Dessen fans will enjoy references to previous book in the Dessen-verse. Easiest 5/5 of 2019 so far.
